Vitré cruises past Besançon in crucial league clash

They extended their lead to a comfortable 20 points by halftime (50-30) and maintained a 16-point cushion entering the final period. The home side shot a respectable 41% from the field (30/74), outperforming Besançon's 34% (21/62), and dished out 27 assists to Besançon's 14. Vitré's bench also contributed 16 points to Besançon's 12.
While Yannick Nkombou fought hard with 16 points and three blocks, Vitré's balanced attack proved too much.
