Kazumba Mwamba Leads Charleville Past Poissy
Patrick Kazumba Mwamba delivered a dominant double-double performance to steer Charleville-Mézières to a hard-fought 109-100 road win over Poissy. While the teams were deadlocked at halftime (48-50), Charleville seized an eight-point advantage (69-77) entering the final frame, a lead they would not relinquish. Despite Poissy shooting a respectable 48% from the field, Charleville's superior 40% three-point shooting and an impressive 84% free-throw conversion rate, where they went 31-of-37, proved decisive. Crucially, Charleville's bench outscored Poissy's 32-21. Melvyn Da Silva led all scorers with 26 points for the visitors, with Kazumba Mwamba adding 24 points and 13 rebounds. For Poissy, Noa Calabre dished out 12 assists to go with his 21 points, while Sydney Hawmmond posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. This loss keeps Poissy firmly in 13th place in Group B.
