Bichard and Fougères Dominate Loon Plage
Kevin Bichard ignited Pays de Fougères' offence with 22 points, steering them to a decisive 94-82 road victory over Loon Plage.
In a regular-season contest with little bearing on the final standings, Fougères secured the win, while Loon Plage's precarious position at 5-19 in the standings was further solidified.
Fougères established control early, holding a six-point lead at halftime (51-45) and then extending that advantage to 14 points entering the fourth quarter (74-60). Their sharp shooting proved pivotal, as they drained 20 of 38 three-pointers (53%) and received a significant boost from their bench, which contributed 29 points. Kilian Incredule was a force, narrowly missing a triple-double with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, complemented by Clément Poncet-Leberre's 7 assists. Despite a stellar 26-point, 9-rebound effort from Clement Peinte and Vincent Fauche's double-double with 13 assists for Loon Plage, the team struggled to contain Fougères' offensive firepower.
The win offers Pays de Fougères a strong finish to the season, while Loon Plage continues to battle at the lower end of the standings.
