Dominique Malonga spearheaded a devastating French offensive, powering the Tricolores to a commanding 95-69 win over the Republic of Korea at the FIBA Women's World Cup.

France asserted control early, though the Republic of Korea managed to stay within striking distance, trailing by just six points at halftime (43-37).

The third quarter, however, saw France unleash an relentless offensive surge, outscoring their opponents 33-15 to build an insurmountable 24-point lead entering the final period. This dominance continued, with France ultimately winning by 26. The French showcased remarkable efficiency, shooting 61% from the field and 46% from three-point range. Their bench proved a significant advantage, contributing 59 points to the collective effort. Malonga, coming off the bench, was exceptional with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, while Marine Johannès added 17 points to solidify the win. For Korea, Haeran Lee and Yeeun Heo each posted 12 points, but it wasn't enough to counter France's firepower.
