Puzio Powers Poland Past Serbia

Dominika Puzio exploded for 17 points, including 10 in a devastating opening quarter, to spearhead Poland to an authoritative 58-37 victory over Serbia at the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket.

Poland seized control immediately, unleashing an 18-point swing in the first quarter to establish an advantage that would never be threatened. By halftime, they held a commanding 35-23 lead, a dominance that continued as they entered the final period up 48-32.

Poland's offensive firepower, boosted by 38 points from their bench, overwhelmed a Serbian side that struggled to 20% shooting for the game. Despite Valentina Zaric's 7 rebounds, Serbia never found their rhythm, committing 25 turnovers to Poland's 21 assists.

Puzio's impactful performance off the bench was key, with Natalia Rutkowska adding 9 points. Poland sent a strong statement with this commanding performance.
