In a pulsating contest at Gargzdai Arena, Israel overturned a six-point deficit at halftime and entering the final period to snatch the win.
The Lithuanians, who held a 35-29 lead at the break and were up 53-47 heading into the fourth, saw their advantage evaporate as Israel mounted a furious comeback. Israel's defence proved pivotal, forcing 21 turnovers to Lithuania's 10 and racking up 17 steals. While Lithuania's bench outscored Israel's 12-4 and they shot a more efficient 47% from the field compared to Israel's 37%, it wasn't enough.
Raviv was the catalyst for Israel, adding 6 rebounds and 6 assists to her scoring outburst, with Maayan Cohen contributing 12 points. For Lithuania, Gabija Galvanauskaite recorded a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds, complemented by Sintija Aukstikalnyte's 21 points.
