Avdalovic Leads Serbia to Narrow Victory

Marko Avdalovic delivered a decisive performance, steering Serbia to a hard-fought 75-73 victory over Türkiye at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket.

Serbia established a lead by halftime, holding a 45-36 advantage, but Türkiye mounted a significant comeback in the third quarter, narrowing the deficit to just two points (60-58) entering the final period.

Despite shooting 41% from the field, Türkiye saw 24 points come from their bench. However, Serbia, converting at a 48% clip, found crucial contributions from their reserves, who scored 31 points. Filip Mrden was a spark off the bench with 20 points, while Avdalovic added 19 points and 8 rebounds to seal the win.
