Egbe Powers Germany Past Greece in U16 EuroBasket Clash

Danny Egbe poured in 22 points to power Germany to a hard-fought 85-77 victory over Greece at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket.

In a tightly contested affair in Oradea, Germany held a slim five-point lead at halftime, 44-39, before Greece mounted a challenge.

The German side managed to maintain their advantage, entering the final period ahead 64-60. Greece, despite a significant 40 points from their bench, could not close the gap, as Germany sealed the win in a fourth quarter that saw both teams score 21 points.
