Germany seized control early, establishing a 17-point lead by halftime (41-24) and never looked back. The German advantage widened significantly during the second quarter, which they outscored Romania 23-13, extending their lead to 20 points entering the final period (60-40).
Danny Egbe chipped in 20 points off the bench, showcasing Germany's depth as their reserves outscored Romania's 45-27. Marko Volf rounded out Germany's strong showing with 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
