About NM1
Nationale Masculine 1 (NM1) is the third tier of French basketball, sitting just below Pro B (Élite 2) and run by the FFBB (Fédération Française de Basketball). It's a semi-professional division featuring long-established clubs and emerging talent. The season runs in two phases: a group stage (Poule A and Poule B) across 22 matchdays, followed by a split phase between the high pool (competing for Pro B promotion) and the low pool (fighting relegation).
