Lendeborg Masterclass Powers Warriors Past Nuggets
Yaxel Lendeborg delivered a dominant performance, scoring 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to spearhead the Golden State Warriors to a resounding 134-114 victory over the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena.
In a regular-season matchup where both teams sought to improve their early standings, the Warriors quickly asserted control, holding a slim 60-56 lead at halftime. However, the decisive blow came in the third quarter, as Golden State outscored Denver 40-28 to build a commanding 16-point advantage entering the final frame.
The Warriors continued their offensive onslaught, ultimately winning by 20 points. Their shooting was exceptional, hitting 54% from the field and a blistering 50% from three-point range (22/44), while Denver, despite 47 points from its bench, couldn't keep pace. Although Nikola Jokic posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists, and Jamal Murray added 19 points, their efforts were overshadowed by the Warriors' potent offense, which also saw Stephen Curry chip in 24 points. This win moves the Warriors to 10th in the Western Conference, with the Nuggets slipping to 11th.
