Rockets Edge Spurs in Tight Contest
The Houston Rockets maintained their perfect start to the season, narrowly defeating the San Antonio Spurs 114-110 to move to 2-0.
Inside Moody Center, Houston clung to a four-point lead at the final buzzer, having held a slim two-point advantage at halftime (61-59) and a four-point cushion entering the final period (85-81).

The Rockets shot a blistering 90% from the free-throw line (28/31) and received 24 points from their bench, surpassing San Antonio's 21.
Alperen Sengun spearheaded Houston's offense with 29 points and seven assists, while Amen Thompson delivered a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds, complemented by two steals and two blocks. Kevin Durant also chipped in 20 points and seven rebounds.
