Knicks Sweep Sixers to Advance
The New York Knicks have officially ended their Semifinals campaign, sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers 144-114 to clinch the series 4-0 and advance to the next round.
The contest at the Xfinity Mobile Arena quickly turned decisive, as the Knicks established a 19-point lead in the first quarter, closing it out 43-24. This advantage ballooned to 24 points by halftime (81-57) and stretched to an insurmountable 39 points entering the final period (122-83).
Despite 24 points and 5 assists from Joel Embiid, and 9 points off the bench from Dalen Terry, the Sixers could not match the Knicks' offensive firepower. New York's sharp shooting, particularly from deep where they hit 25 of 44 attempts (57%), proved overwhelming, complemented by 51 points from their bench. Karl-Anthony Towns orchestrated the offense with a double-double, dishing out 10 assists, while Miles McBride led all scorers with 25 points and Josh Hart added 17 points and 9 rebounds.
With this commanding victory, the New York Knicks move on to the Conference Finals, having eliminated the Philadelphia 76ers by a decisive 4-0 margin in the series.
