Zentgraf Leads Germany to Hard-Fought Victory Over Lithuania

Jamie Zentgraf's 19-point, 7-steal effort propelled Germany to a hard-earned 73-68 victory over Lithuania at the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket.

Contested fiercely at the Pitesti Arena, the game saw Germany cling to a slim two-point lead at halftime (35-33) and enter the final period with the same advantage (55-53).

The Lithuanians, despite shooting a more efficient 40% from the field compared to Germany's 33%, were undone by 36 turnovers, 23 of which were steals by Germany, aiding Zentgraf's cause and the efforts of Nele Prowaznik, who contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds.

While Urte Gureviciute delivered a stellar offensive performance with 28 points for Lithuania, Germany found crucial support from its bench, including 10 points and 8 rebounds from Emilia Atsur, to seal the outcome.
