Fenerbahçe bench powers past Zalgiris
Fenerbahçe's reserves proved decisive, powering the team to a commanding 86-74 victory over Zalgiris Kaunas. Establishing dominance early, Fenerbahçe built an 18-point lead by halftime (51-33), a margin that stretched to 19 entering the final period (66-47). Despite Zalgiris boasting a superior field goal percentage (52% FG to Fenerbahçe's 47%), the home side capitalised on a potent offensive display from their bench, which collectively outscored Zalgiris's reserves 44-24. Nando De Colo, coming off the bench, poured in 16 points, while Mikael Jantunen added 13 points and 6 rebounds to spearhead that deep offensive effort. Nicolo Melli also chipped in with 17 points. For Zalgiris, Azuolas Tubelis and Moses Wright both registered 16 points, but their individual efforts couldn't overcome the sustained offensive pressure from Fenerbahçe's collective depth. This win further solidifies Fenerbahçe's standing as they push towards the playoffs.
