Denain Outlasts Gries 68-63
Nael El Moussaoui poured in 18 points to guide Espoirs Denain to a hard-fought 68-63 victory over Espoirs Gries-Souffel at Espace Sport La Forêt. Despite Gries holding a significant 52-41 rebounding advantage, Denain's superior shooting efficiency, hitting 43% from the field compared to Gries's 27%, proved decisive. Denain established a 31-35 lead by halftime and maintained their advantage entering the fourth quarter with a 42-47 cushion. While Francis Tchapi Kamga contributed 13 points and 9 rebounds for Gries, they couldn't overcome Denain's potent three-point attack, which saw them connect on 11 of 23 attempts. Off the bench, Luca Jasnowski added 17 points, matched by Noé Sungu's 17, to seal the win for Denain. This result leaves Gries without a standing, while Denain notches an early-season road triumph.
