Jagou's 27 points power Blois past Poitiers in thriller
Mathis Jagou delivered a commanding offensive performance, netting 27 points to guide Espoirs Blois to a hard-fought 93-87 victory over Espoirs Poitiers at Le Jeu de Paume. Blois had built a substantial 17-point lead by halftime (51-34), a margin that remained intact entering the final period (78-61). However, Poitiers mounted a spirited comeback, fuelled by 36 points from their bench, though it ultimately fell short. Jagou's 27 points, coupled with Elyon Mosengo Masa's double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds, proved vital for Blois. Despite Noah Issa-Pavy's 19 points and five steals off the bench for Poitiers, and Axel Maynier adding 17, Blois managed to hold on. The intense battle concluded with a six-point win for the home side, who also benefited from 24 turnovers forced and 19 steals.
