Paris crowned champions on Monaco's home court
Paris Basketball are French champions. In a decisive Game 4 at the Salle Gaston Médecin, Paris overturned AS Monaco 77-88 to clinch the Betclic Elite final series 3-1. Trailing by four at halftime (44-40) and still down by three entering the final period (61-58), the visitors unleashed a decisive 30-16 run to secure the championship. The victory, fuelled by a commanding 44-32 rebounding advantage and 81% free-throw shooting, saw Nadir Hifi lead the charge with 22 points and 6 assists, complemented by Lamar Stevens' game-high 24 points. Monaco, despite 32 points from their bench, faltered in the crucial final quarter, unable to match Paris's intensity. Elie Okobo was Monaco's top scorer with 15 points. Paris lifts their first-ever French championship trophy, capping off a historic season.
