About Betclic Elite
The Betclic Elite (formerly Pro A) is the top French basketball league, run by the LNB (Ligue Nationale de Basket). Eighteen clubs face off across a 34-game regular season from October to June, before best-of-three and best-of-five playoffs culminate in a championship final. The 2025-26 Betclic Elite standings determine the eight playoff qualifiers; the last-placed club is relegated to Pro B (Élite 2), while top finishers earn European tickets to the EuroLeague, EuroCup or Basketball Champions League. Historic sides include ASVEL Villeurbanne, AS Monaco, Paris Basketball, Nanterre 92 and Bourg-en-Bresse.
