Nantes clinches series in overtime thriller

Nantes punched their ticket to the Pro B finals by snatching an 83-80 overtime victory against Poitiers in a series-clinching semi-final clash. The game, tied 35-35 at halftime, saw Poitiers build an eight-point lead entering the fourth quarter after a decisive 17-9 run by Nantes in the third. However, the visitors mounted a furious comeback, holding Poitiers to a meagre 38% shooting from the field (26/68) and capitalising on 18 turnovers to force overtime. Despite 47 points from their bench, Poitiers couldn't contain Nantes' resilience, as Dylan Van Eyck recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, complemented by Jean-Fabrice Dossou's 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Nathan Soliman chipped in 16 points and 3 steals off the bench. Nantes advances to the Pro B finals, having won the series 2-0.
