Paris clinches series, eliminates Cholet
Paris Basketball secured their advancement to the next round with a commanding 100-77 victory over Cholet, clinching the series 2-1.
In a decisive semi-final clash, Paris overturned a five-point halftime deficit, as Cholet had led 45-50 at the break.
The home side unleashed a decisive 32-18 run in the third quarter, transforming a slight disadvantage into a commanding nine-point lead entering the final period (77-68). This surge, bolstered by a dominant bench that outscored Cholet's 65-34, proved insurmountable. Paris shot a blistering 56% from the field (34/61), including 46% from beyond the arc (16/35).
Nadir Hifi led the charge with 19 points and 5 assists, while impactful contributions came from reserve forwards Daulton Hommes, who posted 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Mouhamed Faye, adding 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. For Cholet, Gerald Ayayi's 17 points were a team-high but insufficient to counter Paris' offensive onslaught.
Paris now advances to the next stage of the Betclic Elite playoffs.
