Marvin Clark delivered a championship-defining performance, igniting Pau-Lacq-Orthez to the Pro B title and clinching the Final series 3-1 over Poitiers with an 86-73 victory at the Palais des Sports.
In a decisive championship contest, Pau-Lacq-Orthez erased a one-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, outscoring Poitiers 24-10 in the final frame to secure the crown. The hosts held a 44-39 lead at halftime, but Poitiers surged ahead 62-63 entering the final period before Pau's decisive run.
Clark was immense, finishing with 27 points and 9 rebounds, his scoring proving vital as the team shot just 30% from three-point range (7/23). Thomas Cornely dished out 8 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Bryce Nze added 12 points and 6 boards. Despite 35 points from their bench, Poitiers couldn't contain Pau's offense, which benefited from 22 assists and 9 steals. Marcus Hammond led Poitiers with 22 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent Pau-Lacq-Orthez from lifting the trophy.
