Trailing by four at halftime (29-33) and by seven entering the final period (47-54), the home side found another gear. A dramatic turnaround, highlighted by an 28-17 advantage in the closing quarter, sealed the win. Caen's struggles from beyond the arc, hitting just 19% (5/26), proved costly, whereas Roanne's reserves poured in 46 points to Caen's 25. Roanne also managed the ball more effectively, committing 11 turnovers to Caen's 16.
Despite the loss, Siyani Chambers was a standout for Caen with 16 points and 4 steals, while Roanne's Javon Masters and Aaron Levarity combined for 36 points off the bench, with Levarity adding 6 rebounds. Dylan Affo Mama also chipped in with 8 points and 5 rebounds.
