Borlase Masterclass Fuels Australia's Comeback Win

Isobel Borlase spearheaded a stunning Australian comeback, as the Opals edged Italy 82-80 in a FIBA Women's World Cup clash in Berlin.

Australia built a commanding 15-point lead by halftime and extended their advantage to a seemingly insurmountable 20 points (69-49) entering the final period. However, Italy mounted a furious rally.

Fueled by 23 points from Costanza Verona, Italy outscored Australia 31-13 in the fourth quarter to erase the deficit.
