Australia established a 40-30 lead by halftime and never looked back, maintaining their advantage throughout the second half. While Türkiye's bench contributed a significant 42 points, Australia's superior shooting efficiency, hitting 61% of their field goals compared to Türkiye's 36%, proved decisive. The Opals also held a slight edge on the boards, outrebounding Türkiye 27-24.
Entering the final quarter with a commanding 67-55 lead, Australia saw Steph Talbot orchestrate the offense with 17 points and 5 assists, complemented by Ezi Magbegor's game-high 21 points. Despite Uzun's standout individual effort, Australia's balanced scoring and consistent execution propelled them to a statement win in the tournament.
